What are Ads? Ads are what bring your locations or brands and images and search terms together in one place so that people can find you on NewLIST.
Once you have: 1) Created one or more locations or brands; 2) Uploaded your completed and approved ad images; it's time to create an ad that you assign your locations or brand and ad images to. Use the controls at the right open the Locations and/or Images sections for each ad. You will see a mini-list of your location(s) and brands, and ad images. Clicking on each row of the mini-table will turn that location or image row a gold color indicating that this location or image has been assigned to your ad.
Editable Fields: Some columns in the Ads table are editable, these are marked with a pencil icon . Clicking on the field means you can change the content of that field directly.
Points: Also called Ad Points, these are what allow your ads to show higher in the search rankings. You can run ads on NewLIST for free with zero (0) points. Adding just a few points, depending on your local competition can improve your search rankings dramatically.
Managed Ads: NewLIST offers a managed ad service where we manage your ad on the platform, including setting up your profile, creating your ad images, and grooming your content to be seen by search engines. Adding 45 points or more to your add qualifies you for a managed ad. Contact us via the support portal if you would like us to manage your ad. You must maintain your 45 points per month commitment to continue to have NewLIST manage your ad.
Play / Pause Ads: NewLIST allows you to play and pause different ads at different times. Note that you are only billed for the time your ad is actively playing during the month. Also note that only one ad will show within a metro area.
